Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that ‘a broad all-Ukrainian conversation´ took place during the talk of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych with Ukrainian citizens.
"We have learned what issues are considered of primary importance, and how should the practical work start," V. Lytvyn stated.
He believes that reforms should be implemented only if they are of moral character. V.Lytvyn supposes that citizens should be informed about the innovations. Then the public will understand and accept the changes. "The resolution that is accepted will be implemented," the Head of the Parliament stated.
V.Lytvyn drew attention to the stance of the President of Ukraine concerning public discussion of the pension reform "to determine the necessary changes and corrections, and the sequence of their introduction."
